Our Suspended Ceiling Clothes Drying Rack consists of 2 stainless steel bars measuring 78” inches (6.5 feet), a removable handle assembly, which controls each bar independently, and the associated pulleys, cables and covers. Once installed this rack system will add tremendous convenience to your laundry chores.

Discover for yourself how easy it will be to lower the bars, hang damp laundry straight from the washer on the racks, and then crank both bars up and out of the way allowing your clothes to finish drying.

The cable is strong enough to allow hanging about 75 lbs. of damp laundry along each bar, so that they will easily hold several loads of laundry at once. You will dramatically cut down on clutter in the laundry room, and save real money by not running the dryer as often.

The installation is not difficult, and makes a nice weekend project. After carefully measuring your layout, the pulleys are attached to the ceiling, the handle is attached to the wall, and the cable is routed through the pulleys to the bars. We offer a step-by-step description of the installation with pictures in our downloadable online installation manual. The project takes about 2 hours to complete, and is well within the capabilities of most "do-it yourselfers".

 Initially designed to be a space saver in the laundry room, it has found uses all throughout the house. Many customers have mounted these drying racks in their garages to store seasonal items such as ski apparel, wet suits, life jackets, fishing and camping gear up and out of the way. Others have mounted them in storerooms and basements, and because they are made from stainless steel they also work very well outdoors over patios, or near swimming pools.
